Third Avenue Festival

Thousands of people came out in the heat yesterday to enjoy the Third Avenue Festival here in Melrose.

There were many different activities and vendors for all family members to have fun including a petting zoo!

Assurance Wireless was also on hand to help sign up qualifying low income individuals for free cell phone service and dozens of people people stood in line for a chance at a free lifeline.

Did you attend the festival? Got pics you wanna share with us? Send them to themayor @ welcome2melrose.com!

Melrose Murals

Located on Melrose Avenue between East 162nd and 163rd Streets.
Good Times!  More on the location of this mural as it is the site of rapid turnover rate of murals...almost on a monthly basis by local graffiti artists.
