It would be great to have more doctors who hail from the South Bronx. It would be great to have more Latino doctors too. It's a wonderful concept for a school.

Before posting such a link you should do your research. Dr. Richard Izquierdo is not nor has ever been involved in any scandal or wrongdoing. The news search which you posted is in reference to Richard Izquierdo Arroyo who is assemblywoman Carmen Arroyo's nephew and councilwoman Maria Del Carmen Arroyo's grandson. The two are completely unrelated and there is zero connection other than the unfortunate circumstance of bearing the same name.
The first time I met "Doc" he walked up for a meeting chatting thru his Bluetooth headset on his iPhone.
The man is amazing. I should do so well when I'm 84.
