Today I strolled over to Hostos Community College (located in Mott Haven and the border of Melrose) for the annual ¡Viva El Bronx! and Hostos Community College Homecoming Celebration which was held on the Grand Concourse between East 144th Street and East 149th Street. Well they say a picture is worth a thousand words so here are a few to show you some of the highlights of this gorgeous Bronx afternoon. AWESOME PICS! Eso 'staba heavy! Too bad we missed this festival this year....oh well....maybe next year. I really like the pic of the guy walking on stilts....reminds me of el viejo san juan's san sebastian festival!
